"Spain is playing the beautiful game." - I'm happy that they have learned "this" from Brazil (the architects of the modern game), but they need to keep up with the lessons. In the '50s Brazil introduced the world to the beautiful game and became a force, winning three times. When Brazil realized that just playing beautiful attacking football won't win the cup (see '82 and '86), they made adjustments to the midfield, defence and goalkeeping, winning two of three finals. Although Brazillians love the beautiful game (joga bonito) and want their team to always play that way, the coaches know that they will be forgiven if they bring home the cup.

So my pointing out that Brazil revolutionized the game in the '50s, and introduced the world to the Beautiful Game, to win 3 World Cups, and further made necessary adjustments to their game, starting in the '90s to continue their dominance (winning 2 of 3 World Cup finals) is "Bitch ball"???

Do you have a difficulty with comprehension or is it more beneficial to pick sections of a post to try and make a point??? My original post and response to Willi's "Bitch ball" comment clearly states that in the 50's Brazil revolutionized the game and won 3 championships, thus their dominance of the game, THEN I stated that in the 90's they made adjustments to their game (again), and won 2 of 3 finals, thus continuing their dominance. Now, during that second period of adjustments there were 4 World Cups - '90, '94, '02 and '06, and Brazil reached 3 of those finals and won 2. I think that is a dominant display, but if you don't then so be it.

First, if you looked at the responses you would see that I did ask Willi (TWICE) to explain his "Bitch ball" comment to my original post, before I even responded to your SUPPORT/ENDORSEMENT of Willi's comment. Second, Willi was the one that responded with the "Bitch ball" comment, and YOU endorsed/agreed with his response. Since I have no recollection of Brazil playing "Bitch ball", I have asked Willi and you to explain your position, because I consider "Bitch ball" as playing NOT to loose rather than playing to WIN.
