All the pitches used so far have been natural grass, only 2 of the 10 have the natural grass mixed with artificial. They are Mbombela and Peter Mokaba stadiums. They shouldn't be any different from Emirates Stadium

Yeah...but huge tufts of turf coming out at the easiest disturbance...and players are the fields overwatered or was it earlier rainfall?

I'm thinking the same thing, that some weird bounce is going to beat a goalie. Can't figure out the bounce because the fields appear soft, but the ball bounces high and don't seem to slow down. It must be that new ball.
