Bolton will be eager to cement their place in the top six when they travel to Manchester City on Saturday.



The Trotters have won the last three meetings with City in the Premiership without conceding a goal and Sam Allardyce will be impressing upon his players the need to impose themselves at Eastlands.



Allardyce has been boosted by the return from suspension of striker El Hadji Diouf and he is sure to come into contention - especially as Kevin Davies misses out due to a ban.



Tal Ben Haim and Ricardo Gardner are pushing for starts, but Quinton Fortune is again ruled out with an Achilles injury and Joey O'Brien could miss the rest of the season.



Nicolas Anelka is likely to carry the main attacking threat for Bolton and he is sure to be revved up to take on his former paymasters.



The Frenchman is likely to face a major obstacle, as Micah Richards is expected to shake off a minor niggle to figure and Ben Thatcher has returned from a ban.



American midfielder Claudio Reyna is hopeful of passing a fitness test, but Dietmar Hamann remains sidelined with a back problem.



Georgios Samaras is set to lead the line alongside Paul Dickov, although Darius Vassell is also knocking on the door, as Bernardo Corradi serves a suspension.

Watching the Bolton game last week. Big Sam put on a Sub in about the 30 minute as someone was injured. He took the guy out in about the 65 minute and put in Bibi.

Bwoy when that happens it mean you not playing a rhatid.

I have a lot of admiration for Gary Speed to see how the man running and covering the field at that age.

Bibi needs a few more game and he will be ready to rumble but Pederson at the leftback can't cut it against any good winger at all but him trying hard.
