LLANDILO, Westmoreland - Atrio Atlan and Damion Green both scored twice as Frome FC romped to an easy 5-1 win over Straths in the Westmoreland Football Association's Paul Buchanan Knockout final played at the Llandilo sports grounds on Tuesday.
The Clinton Ledgister-coached Frome, who were beaten finalists in the WFA Major League last year, took home the $60,000 first prize and also booked a place in the first round of next month's Jamaica Football Federation's (JFF) Red Stripe Champions Cup all-island KO competition.

Straths' Omar Porter (left) prepares to shoot while Frome's Atrio Atlan moves in for the challenge during the Buchanan KO final at Llandilo playing field on Tuesday. Atlan scored in the ninth and 56th minutes, Green got his in the 21st and 25th, while Most Valuable Player (MVP) Adrian Robinson completed the rout in the 90th.
Jermaine James earlier pulled one back for Straths in the 31st minute to give his team a glimmer of hope. Straths finished the game with 10 players after referee Ian Myles sent off Andrew Ashley following a second yellow card in the 89th minute.
In a game played under slippery conditions on a field that showed the effects of overuse, Frome - with a solid core of young players, five of whom played schoolboy football in the past three seasons - settled earlier.
Green's thunderous shot in the fifth minute was blocked by a defender, but an unmarked Atlan headed past goalkeeper Peter Blake four minutes later to give his team the lead.
A good save by Frome's Maurice Brown, who just got his fingers' tips to a ball deflected goalwards in the 13th minute by one of his defenders, kept them in the lead.
Frome were awarded a penalty in the 21st minute after Grange Hill schoolboy Janique Thomas was brought down in the penalty box by Ricky Dwyer and Green stepped up to convert easily.
Green added his second and his team's third in the 25th minute when he kept his composure to beat the advancing Blake, who was well off his line.
James managed to get his team on the scoresheet when he dribbled through the Frome defence and despite not connecting properly, hit the far left post and eventually the net.
The goal appeared to breathe some life into the Straths team and they staged a series of attacks, forcing their opponents on the defensive, but failed to make use of their chances.
Atlan got his second in the 56th minute when he controlled a low corner from the left side and given the space to turn, shot left-footed past Blake.
The goal knocked the fight out of Straths as Frome created a number of chances but had only one more goal when Robinson latched onto a weak pass from a Straths defender in the 90th minute and blasted home.
