Vurnun Anita, Jeremy Lens and to a lesser extent Engelaar....Hope they don't get lost in the Surinamese and Dutch Antilles footballing wilderness like Romeo Castelen and Royston Drenthe....

So you're saying those players should have been in the 23? If so, who would you cut?

I'd drop Schaars for Engelaar in midfield....The dutch frontline is pretty good and among the best in Europe so Lens would probably been the more understandable casualty....Ooijer can't even get on Blackburn's roster for next year so I think Anita could have sneaked unto this squad even tho they play different positions on the backline, they have ,more than enough cover for center half on that squad to do without the 35 year old...
