South Africa to earn 1 million rand for each goal scored
Bafana Bafana are being given the incentive of a R1 million bonus for each goal they net at the World Cup, which gets underway in 36 days.
The South Africans have been woefully short of goals in the last few years, netting just 32 in their last 34 matches.
It was a problem even highlighted by FIFA president Sepp Blatter – and one which SAFA is keen to solve by offering the cash incentives for the players to share.
