Arsenal Ready to Make £18m Move for Italian Starlet: Wenger Sets Sights on Inter Milan’s Balotelli
by Mr Neutral on May 7th, 2010
Arsenal are ready to make an attractive bid to sign Inter Milan misfit Mario Balotelli. The £18m rated Italian striker has run out of life’s at the San Siro and Arsene Wenger is hoping that a big money bid will be accepted by Jose Mourinho as he attempts to cash in on the troublesome youngster.
The Italian Under 21 international has found himself frozen out of the first team picture after a series of bust ups with players, fans and Mourinho himself and the Gunners boss believes that the striker has shown enough potential to take a risk on the strong attacker.
There is no doubting the skill and ability Balotelli possesses and he has the physical stature to deal with the rough and tumble aspect of the Premier League. Wenger is looking for alternative attacking options to help beef up his squad. The north London club are looking to end a long streak without silverware and to that end Arsene is ready to spend big and sees Super Mario as one of his top targets.
