Iceland Holds Los Putos to 0-0 Draw

Iceland survived a furious Mexican surge in the final 10 minutes to hold Mexico to a 0-0 draw at Charlotte, North Carolina.

I watched the second half of the game, and Mexico had most of the chances. Iceland had a few chances, mostly on free kicks and corner kicks.

Iceland's goalie made some huge saves in the half, and may have gotten away with a penalty by taking down a Mexican player who broke free.

The CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, reported that attendance was 63,229. The article also stated that tickets for the game were sold in 29 states.

It was a gaoless brawl;as physical as it gets.
In my opinion Putos was the better team, very impressed with the players on the flanks.
