John Terry to visit security guard injured by his car

Mr Rowley said Terry was not to blame

Chelsea captain John Terry is expected to visit a security guard who was injured when he was hit by the footballer's car at the club's ground. Steve Rowley, 35, was hit as Terry was driving out of the Stamford Bridge ground on Tuesday evening after Chelsea's Champion's League defeat.
Mr Rowley, who suffered a badly bruised leg, said: "It wasn't his fault at all, it was a complete accident."
Chelsea said Terry was not aware of the incident until being called at home.
Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat by Inter Milan in the Champions League last-16 match.
After the game, Terry's 4x4 hit Mr Rowley, the club's deputy security manager, as he drove at 1-2 mph through a crowd of fans and photographers after the game, the club said.
    'No bad feeling'
Terry was later breathalysed by Surrey Police and found to be within the legal alcohol limit.
A spokesman for the player said the breathalyser test showed nothing as the player had not had any alcoholic drinks before the accident.
He added that Terry answered questions asked by officers and "that was the end of the matter".
Terry was unaware anyone had been injured, Chelsea said

The "apologetic" footballer later spoke to Mr Rowley and will visit him on Thursday, the spokesman added.
Police had initially said Mr Rowley had been left with a broken leg, but Mr Rowley issued a statement saying the injury was not as serious as first reported.
"It is badly bruised. John was quickly in contact with me once he realised what had happened and there's no bad feeling at all on my part," he said.
"It wasn't his fault at all, it was a complete accident."
Following the incident a Chelsea spokesman said: "John was aware at the time that there was a lot of contact with his car during the incident, but not that anyone was injured as a result."
Terry was recently sacked as England captain by manager Fabio Capello following allegations he had an affair with an England team-mate's ex-girlfriend.
He is alleged to have had an affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the ex-partner of England and former Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge, who now plays for Manchester City.
Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.
