OMAR DALEY dedicated his winner to Bradford fans who helped him through his injury hell.
The Jamaican winger spent 11 months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury but marked his first start under new boss Peter Taylor with a 25-yard super strike.
He said: "The fans stuck with me through rough times. This club has become part of me. I always fancy having a strike at goal but that was a big weight off my shoulders."
Shots grabbed an early lead through Anthony Straker but City levelled as James Hanson crashed home his 11th goal of the season.
Shots boss Kevin Dillon was separated from Taylor in a second-half touchline incident.
Dillon said: "It was disappointing that their manager spoke out of turn, accusing one of my players of feigning injury. He should keep his opinions to himself."
