I had the option of going to the Windies v Zimbabwe 20/20 but wisely opted for the option that brought much less grief.
Our Girlz are not strong defensively; the mid-field is decent, in fact pretty good (at least vs. the Trinis); whoever no. 11 is, is a general...finishing is lacking by the forwards. Pure long shots from 20+ metres out...nothing to trouble the keeper..
T&T not much, if any, better. The 0-0 result was indicative of the play.
The young ladies, both teams, need to work on first touch control...very poor with just a few exceptions. They rarely strung together a cohesive move forward. Our defence in clearing found an opponent 50% of the time...frustrating to watch. I think the young Girlz still have Mextico and Canada to play.
Anyway it was a $20 TT ( $3 US !) well spent. Better dan de $150 TT ($25US) dem was aksin fi guh watch dat bunch ah' eediat play cricket. Mi still well vex ovah dat!
