  • "Ronaldinho too much of a luxury for AC Milan" Sacchi

Arrigo Sacchi says AC Milan will always struggle with Ronaldinho in their team.
Milan lost 3-2 to Manchester United and despite Ronaldinho getting on the scoresheet, Sacchi says he is too much of a luxury.
The former Milan coach explained: "Milan defended with unfortunately too few men. They do not play total football.
"Ronaldinho plays, though well, only for 20 minutes out of the 90. Defending with only seven players in the long run will be trouble."
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)

Now, is that fair? The man scored one set the other and provided other chances.

      Foolishness

The others just could not finish. Manu converted the few chances they got but Milan squandered the many that were presented.

Sacchi wants to get into Dunga's ear so that he does not call Dinho for the WC thus giving Italy and others a better chance of beating them.

Lazie that is exactly what i thought last night watching the game.If man U was on song last night AC Milan would have taken a bad beating,if you watch the game closely Dhino and Pato just stood up top never tracked back at all and left all the work to the 3 midfielders. If they come to Old Trafford and play like that i gaurantee they will take a serious whipping.

Ronaldinho is a shadow of his further self. That nobody can deny. The man is talking the truth. Ronaldinho is a part time player jus like him countryman Robinho

I dont agree,i think Dhino is still a great player but it's the coaches responsibility to make sure he plays for the team.Fergie,Capello,Mourinho,Wenger and the other top coaches in the world would not let him get away with not doing is job properly.

Correct...but the coach is correct he has his team playing outnumbered
on defense therefore giving opponents too much of the ball.

Star a star bredren! Ronaldo did the same at MU and Fergie decided to use people like Fletcher to cover for him or better yet use him as the 1 in a 4-5-1 formation.

Watching Milan, most of their chances come because of Ronaldinho. Stop blame the star that is shining the brightest and get rid of all the old men in the team. Who has scored the most goals thus far? Who have the most assists thus far? Sacchi need to shut up!

He may not be as good as before but still one of the best in the world. With better forwards AC Milan would be at the top of the Italian league and should have been up big in the first half yesterday. Check number of goals scored so far this season and assists.

Karl stop; it's better sacchi says he's relying on Dinho (more of a motivational speech) to do more for Milan. Sacchi is one of the top coaches in Italy he knows that those two goals by Rooney came from tactical error. Sacchi also knows that 20 mins worth of touch is a lot in football time. I think sacchi may be on Milan's board and my question to him is this: How can a rich, big club steeped in tradition has such poor finishers? In these sort of games only half chances will be given, aside from dinho none of the forwards were abble to convert these half chances.

Rooney's goals are what you get in training sessions; when you are teaching forwards "run on " to high balls. Are you kidding me? I would like to see Capello's face if England allowed goals as Rooney's to be scored on them (oh you would have to lift him bodily out of the stadium).

If not the above, then Robinho is right; we all saw the game can't see why he would single out Dinho.

Karl look at Rooney's two goals, watch when the pass was made, then tell me if Dinho should be in the six tracking the ball to head it out. Ask sachhi about that gentle head pass in the dying mins, that should have been in the back of the net. Let him explain why it wasn't converted. Someone is protecting someone and Dinho is fast becoming the scapegoat.

Bricktop you are a wicked and hateful likkle man. At the rate Ronnie is going, he will soon be back to his peak. Unfortunately, he is surrounded by mediocrity....just like Fuller.
