  • Ricardo Fuller arrested after nightclub incident

Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller has been arrested following an incident at a nightclub, the Premier League side confirmed on Monday morning.

Fuller, 30, was arrested on suspicion of assault in the early hours of Sunday morning and bailed by police pending further inquiries after an incident in a nightspot in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

Stoke have confirmed that Fuller was arrested but are making no further comment on the matter.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman told the Stoke Sentinel: "At 1am on Sunday an incident occurred at JFK nightclub in Trinity Street, following which a 30-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been bailed, pending further inquiries."

Hopefully it is nothing more than the typical bar argument the players get into when some patron tries to taunt the footballer.

As mi female English relatives them tell me, Footballers are wooligans and when the players come in the club they exit as a brawl is right around the corner.

well i'll be damned!!! damn! i am damned!!!

one question though...is the attack with the woollen cardigan itself (like a garrote) or does it take place while the perpetrator is wearing the woolen cardigan?
