It has come to light that the Johns of the soccer world are dangerous creepers! Chelsea's John Terry is the creeper...I mean the man of the moment, having crept into bed with one of his international team-mate's wife. Capello now has some serious decisions to make re Terry's participation at SA2010.
At France 98 one of the USA's top three players, John Harkes, was mysteriously dropped by then coach Steve Sampson. Twelve years later the motive behind all that drama has been revealed. John it is said, had crept into bed with team-mate Eric Wynalda's wife, Amy Wynalda. Both Wynalda and Sampson came out recently (following the John Terry blemish) to divulge the secrets of John Harkes' omission from the France 98 USA team.
Harkes has declined comments, saying that it was a difficult period in his and his family's lives and he does not "wish to rehash the past."
Wynalda was quoted as saying: "there's much similarities between what happened to us in '98 and what's happening now to England."
Sampson followed up by saying: "maybe (now) people will have a little better of an understanding of what happened in the final months leading
up to the world cup."
