Live time difference in EPL match broadcast delivery

Just noticed that livescores via the internet arrives approximately 3 minutes before the FSC cable broadcast to me here in Port St Lucie, Florida.

Just did not think to look at that lapse in time difference in modes (different conduits of delivery) of broadcast delivery.

I wonder how (the route) each broadcast signal travels? ...up links...down links...under sea cable...then...?
