I have always believed that the clubs in Jamaica need to do more with regards to the development of our players. To put the ball solely at the feet of the JFF is not only unfair but impractical. The clubs need to get qualified and accomplished coaches guiding our players(The JFF can do a lot nore with regards to this getting done). They need to be more aggressive in their desire to get quality venues not only for playing but for accomodating patrons. For too many years we have had an idea of what needs to be done to set the game on a solid foundation but have been dragging our feet.

As long as we continue to approach football in an amateur manner; this will be the end result. Schoolboy football cannot go up against the club youth teams around the world.

Brasil told us point blank that all their stars were created (meaning they were mentored and coached from youth) hence it's no accident when they achieve certain results.

Can't blame Tappa for Ja's substandard players.

the man have played at the highest level and in England .
John Barnes played in two World Cups and at a much higher level in England.

What has he shown as a coach?
"Donovan was excellent. We knew he was a good player, but he really didn't do anything wrong in the whole game and made it difficult for us."

if you mention dat bout Barnes , you can do the same for Dunga the
current National Coach of Brazil . Barnes had a 66% win with Jamaica ,
which he did not lost a game in his short stint and I believe he's going
to come back in September 2010 .
Jamaica you mite get a Petroleum well with
United Oil by 1.31.26;You also has a NNPC option with the Abuja accord from 2022.What
happens then I don't know.A Petrol Well is
          Probably forthcoming...

your are correct on that point.

Isn't it ironic that two of the best young prospect in England are Jamaican born and three of the best young prospect in Canada are Jamaican born.
yet we continue to think our current methods are good enough.
