So if Simoes is so badly in need of the Job, why would he wait until now to apply for it? Why wouldnt he have done so long before now? We are talking about a man who is highly respected in world football circles, a man who is currently in a job with teh Iran FA, making wads of money. its not like the man hungry Mosiah.

I want to see if you are going to go jump off a cliff when Burrell and Simoes return to Jamaica football one day.

Simoes never applied for the job. He showed some interest because Bell wanted him to talk to Boxhill.

To understand Simoes is to understand that Federations are supposed to chase good coaches, not the other way around. Simoes can't be seen a begging for a job. However it is perfecyly fine for Boxhil to ask a coach to take the job.

Simoes is trying to protect his future and stay a littel closer to home. He will be out of a job soon because sooner or later somebody is going to attack Iran.

Wrong! Simoes wanted Bell to set it up, not the other way around, for the very reason that you stated - he can't appear to be chasing the job.

Simoes does not need this job. Him nuh hungry. In fact, he is the owner of several seafood restaurants back in Brazil, so he would not be taking the Reggae Boyz job because of money. Unnu tink Burrell need the presidency? It's not about money for these guys. It could be for love of country, pride, whatever!
