Fabregas is 1 short of Lampard's league leading total for the entire season last year and its only november. Don't even mention his 6 goals so far.

How can you even compare Essien to this baller.

By the way look who's second on both list.

How can one compare Essien? Look like you are forgetting that Essien has Ballack, Deco and Lampard playing all more advanced than he is.

But isn't that the point. He's an enforcer and as such can not be compared to Fabregas, who's a playmaker. Lampard or Deco would be a better comparison and Fabregas is way above them. Stats don't lie.

Essien is capable of playing anywhere in midfield as well as defensive positions and as a result people may forget how dangerous he is going forward. The difference with Fabregas is most of Arsenal's plays go through him.

Where are your stats showing fabregas is way above Lampard. It simply shows he is ahead in that stat. You mussi a real mad man. On top of that, Lampard have Deco playing more advanced than him.

Furthermore Essien can play in a more advanced position, that is simply where is used.

Fabregas was out for 3 or so months last year, so let me go to the 2007/2008 season where both were healthy and played the majority of games. Lampard was the main man in chelsea's midfield then.

lol, but everybody in the world knows that fabolous is the best midfielder in england and maybe the world. I had to put on my lawyer cap and bring the evidence, since a few misguided forumites dont recognize class.

Its similar to how blind jamaicans couldnt see the gulf in talent between jerry hue and everybody else in the jamaican setup. Using, the "he does not work hard enough" crappy line, zidane, valderama and xavi didnt track back.

Same so we a go miss out on dada's fabregas-like vision with this foolishness.

Essien is very underrated imho and that bwoy can actually make just as good passes as Fabregas. The difference is he is not the playmaker for Chelsea as Fiberglass is for Arsenal..LOL

                              What a day. LOL
