HARBOUR VIEW FC scores first 1-0 victory over Haitian

Palomino shot into the lead when he pounced on a neat
pass to convert after 11 minutes. Edgard Cassiana
Perez double the lead in minute 38 when hee disposed
of his marker to elude the custodian and effectively
seal the victory as the second half the Curacao
Champions consolidated in defence to win hence
leading the Zone on superior goal difference.

The early strike from the head of Gregg Taylor was
enough in the end to secure victory marked by a fair
amount of opportunities create from good ball movement
of the team coupled with strong running off the ball
into attacking positions.
Six passes that was capped off with Loxely Thomases
cross finding Taylor?s head at the near post to nod
home shortly after he was cautioned.
Richard Edwards drive from distance flew over the
crossbar before Lovel Palmer?s attempt at goal kissed
the horizontal frame on its way out. The excellent
ball artistry of Fabian Taylor to hold up then release
fellow striker Gregg on top of the area was the move
of the half, as Gregg hit the custodian who was
grateful to palm behind for a corner then the half
closed as Fabian?s shot was scrambled of the line.
More self confident the host roared forward with
regularity as Donald Stewart headed Palmer?s cross
just wide, Fabians shot was deflected onto the
upright, Palmer shot wide and substitute Kemeel
Woolfe failed to tap home Fabian?s good dribble and
set cross late in the game as the wound down the
?Stars of the East? closed the door on their guest
from Haiti who played with verve and enthusiasm
accentuated with good ball handling skills at a high
pace consistently throughout the game.
Sundays triple header promises much as both winner
