Carlo Ancelotti Reminds Chelsea To Focus On Champions League Before Manchester United Showdown
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has told his side to remain focused on the task of defeating Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, and not to be distracted by the crucial top-of-the-table clash with Manchester United at the weekend.
The Italian told Metro: "Usually all the people think about the game against Manchester United, but we have another important game during the week and we want to prepare well.
"It is very easy to prepare for Manchester United because it is a very important match, but we need to maintain concentration in the Champions League at this moment."
The Blues have amassed maximum points in Group D of the Champions League, and sit atop the Premier League table with a two-point cushion over Sir Alex Ferguson's champions.
