My picks for SA2010 via tha UEFA playoffs...
1. Ireland
2. Portugal
3. Ukraine
4. Russia
I think France misses out on quaification for SA2010. Have to admit though that UEFA seedings is crap. Why would they draw Ireland and France for a playoff series? Its interesting they chose to have seedings this campaign. I think this has more to do with TV revenue from bigger/richer nations than anything else.
Lets look at each nations population matchups...
Ireland - 5 million
France - 65 million
Slovenia - 2 million
Russia - 142 million
Ukraine - 46 million
Greece - 11 million
Portugal - 11 million
Bosnia - 4 million.
