RE: Sean Fraser off to Brazil!
<DIV>I might have got the club name wrong, bt the country is certainly Brazil. And the player himself was saying that Rromario wanted him to play alongside him, so I don't know about Romario going to Austria.</DIV><DIV></DIV><DIV>Check this:</DIV><DIV></DIV><DIV><H1>Fraser heading to Brazil? </H1><P class=footer>posted: 2006-11-17 08:25:50 <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=251 align=right border=0><TBODY><TR><TD><SCRIPT type=text/javascript></SCRIPT><SCRIPT src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type=text/javascript></SCRIPT><IFRAME name=google_ads_frame marginWidth=0 marginHeight=0 src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-4993191856924332&dt=1164986128875&lmt=1164 986128&format=300x250_as&output=html&c hannel=6020143160&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sportsj amaica.com%2Fread_article.php%3Fid%3D7537&colo r_bg=FFFFFF&color_text=000000&color_link=0 000FF&color_url=008000&color_border=336699 &ad_type=text_image&ref=http%3A%2F%2F216.2 39.51.104%2Fsearch%3Fq%3DBoavista%2Band%2BBrazil%2 Band%2BRomario%26btnG%3DSearch%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D&a mp;cc=397&u_h=768&u_w=1024&u_ah=734&am p;u_aw=1024&u_cd=32&u_tz=-300&u_his=4&u_java=true" frameBorder=0 width=300 scrolling=no height=250 allowTransparency></IFRAME></TD></TR><TR><TD></TD></TR><TR><TD> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><DIV class=KonaBody tEY7p="0" QFpE4="27" Rjuf6="true">GORDON WILLIAMS, Contributor
Midfielder Sean Fraser, dropped from the national team for the Reggae Boyz' game on Wednesday against Peru, could be next in line among Jamaicans to play professional football in Brazil.
Indications are that Fraser, who was called to train with the Boyz in preparation for the friendly international but was not named in the final squad, could join Boavista Sport Club in Rio de Janiero later this month on loan from his team Miami F.C. of the United Soccer Leagues (USL), a first-year club in America's second-tier competition.
"Everything is taken care of," said a source familiar with the situation recently.
Not clear
The source said a deal has been ironed out between Miami F.C. and the Brazilian club. However, it is not clear if either party has signed off on it.
When asked about the possible deal, Fraser said he would welcome the chance to play in the South American country, which has produced some of the greatest players the game has known and has won the World Cup a record five times.
"It would be a wonderful opportunity," said the 25-year-old, who is currently training in Jamaica. "I would look forward to it because they play the style I like."
However, he declined to publicly comment on any deal, referring a reporter to officials at Miami F.C.
Fraser's agents were non-committal about the move to Brazil. Eddie Davidson declined to offer any specifics when contacted in the U.S. last week.
"We're trying to work something out for Sean," Davidson said, "but I can't discuss that right now."
Evaluating options
Fellow agent Rob Feigenson, however, did not rule out the move.
"We're at a point where we are evaluating (Fraser's) options," Feigenson said. "I'm not going to deny or confirm (a Brazil deal)."
However, he added that Fraser
