X - interesting. But even while Lucas may have had a good game here or there, the problem is that it is almost always defensively. I am not surprised by the statistic that has him completing more passes because it appears to me that the vast majority of his passes are lateral or backwards. Simply put, he is no Xabi and is no playmaker. That is the problem. He and Masch shouldn't be on the field at the same time. Again, he is young and I don't want to pour fire on the youth, but the manager has to rethink his strategy. If he couldn't see that the Masch/Lucas pairing were totally out of ideas when going forward, then he is blinder than any bat that neva see. Lucas should be on the bench and Gerrard should play in Xabi's old role...for now.

Following the recent TSA Sports Agency-sponsored 10-day scouting exploration trip to Jamaica by Serbian scout Milan Dovedan, 14 players under the age of 16 were identified to go on trials with some European clubs, possibly in early July, 2010....more
