You summed it up HL.

It's just a bad group all around. You can't even blame the coach because the pieces just simply aren't there for him to work with.

The score was 3-0 but I think a fair result would have been 5-0. There was no phase of the game where the US did well.

They were bad in the defending phase, horrible in the build up phase and had absolutely no ideas for the attacking phase. They were pathetic with and without the ball. Did not matter what side of the ball they were on they were just bad. Such is life.

You can't have a strong group every cycle. Unfortunately this was one of those where the talent just did not exist. You know like the Red Bulls every year. - T.K.

P.S. What did you think of the pk given against the states? Was it a pk? If yes did it deserve a yellow? As well do you agree with me that Brek Shea should have had a straight red for that two footed tackle?
