Waterhouse lost again today, 2-0 to St Georges, thier fifth straight.

What makes him this great coach again?

Well he was the one who established Waterhouse as a big team in Jamaica, where people take them for granted today.

yes but he was able to use less than legal methods to attract and keep top players.

He has not come any where near that level since and to my mind the skills of a good coach is when he is able to push mediocre players to perform better than they would be able to....

his Waterhouse team wasn't built by attracting any top players. The core of that team was a bunch of Norman Manley youth and original fiyahhouse ballers. He won at the KASAFA level with those same players and won the NPL when he used the same core group. Anthony Peat, Irvino English, Duttyman Powell, Kirk Martin, Warlord, Alberto Fray, Bingi, Kevin Lamey, Boris.

Did he not save St George's from relegation.

He had Winston 'Twinny Bug' Anglin living in high price apartment and flying to and from MoBay

St.Georges really was falling apart as Duckie wasn't paying the team enough time. They were competitive for the first part of the season. It is not like he did a miracle.

They competed ok for him last year and now pretty much the same team is now in the top 4 under Braxton Hyre as they haven't lost all season.

That too...plus saving teams from relegation seems to be a thing that many coaches have been doing lately, Tegat did it at Village as did Cassman last year, Weatherly did it with Violet Kickers in the last and others too have done it... Chris Dawes did it with Sporting Central as well so maybe it is not that big a deal

Anglin came on board AFTER he established Waterhouse.

And the end of the day he saved them. Just like how at the end of the day he got fired from other teams.

He did a decent job but that don't make him a genius of a coach, that is my point
