Jamaica's Under-20 women will leave the island this afternoon for Dominica to compete in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) first-round qualifiers against the hosts and Turk & Caicos Islands from the September 23 to 27.
The 18-member squad coached by Vin Blaine completed training on Thursday with a practice match against St George's College's U-16 team at Winchester Park.

The game ended 0-0 and Blaine was pleased with the way the team kept its organisation under pressure and the fact that the players seemed to have grasped the importance of pace and movement, which will be crucial when they move on to the second phase.
"Playing against boys who are stronger and faster will make them more prepared for the play they will come up against in the second round.
"So if we can get them acclimatised to that kind of play, it will suit us well... But I thought we achieved what we wanted to because in the first 15 minutes you could see they were not used to the pace of the game.
"And that is the area we want to improve on; we want them to understand the importance of the pace in the game, even if it's against a lesser team," Blaine said.
The Harbour View coach admitted that he does not expect any difficulty advancing from the first round and is really getting the girls ready for the second.
"I don't believe we should have much problem getting through the first round, but the second... we're going to have four teams, all group winners, so we'll get better competition," he added.
The veteran coach, however, has concern regarding some of the girls' decision-making and believes he'll have to keep working on this aspect of their game.
Squad - Shena Wint, Shuashana Dobson, Toni Cowan, Sasha-Gay Spence, Vanessa Ramsey, Tasheka Small, Simone Honeghan, Sashana Campbell, Shanise Foster, Tasheka Gordon, Nugene Nugent, Teashian Thomas, Abegail Walker, Trudi Carter, Kimeisha Wilmot, Nesa Ralph, Davia Smith and overseas-based Jamila Campbell-Henny.
