    The Jamaican defender signed the contract after impressing the Rovers boss while on trial, but he's a player that Brian Little knew all about.

    The pair spent time together at Hull City and Goodison used his contacts to get back into English football when he called Little to see if he could come over to train.

    After paying his own flights and going without pay the 31-year-old was rewarded with a contract until the end of the season.
