If Fergie can get him to tackle more he will be worth it. That would be a problem. Manu has always been most efficient with a 4-4-2 formation, with 2 wingers. If those 3 are in the middle of the park, who would who drop? Bredren, with the backline Manu have, if a midfielder with STEEL (as Mexx would say) should sit in front of that defense .... wow!
With how Carrick is passing the ball, I'd like to see him in a game playing a more advanced role. Yuh think suh? Last week in Scotland a reporter asked Paul Scholes if this was his best season? Fergie cut in and pointed out that Scholes used to score about 18 goals per season, so he would say no.
