The former Upton Golf Club, now known as Sandals Golf Club, is located in St. Ann Parish, south of Ocho Rios, on the other side of the mountains. Maybe that would help.

I also searched the GLEANER website and there is a mention of a town of Upton in St. Ann Parish.
