Wild Finish, 1-1 After Regulation

Guillermo Franco scored for Mexico in the 88th minute, only to have Franco Ledzema tie the game in the last minute of stoppage time.

After a wild scramble in front of the Mexican goal, with the Costa Rican goalkeeper and three players piled up in the back of the net, Franco fired the ball into a wide open goal. Costa Rica failed three times to clear.

Ledzema fired the ball from a crowd at the 18 yard line and the ball went in.

Mexican fans are throwing debris on the field, as usual.
