<P class=StoryText align=justify>Duhaney Park and Central Kingston will contest the play-off final for the Red Stripe All-Island KO competition after scoring identical 1-0 victories over the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) and Olympic Gardens in the Jackie Bell competition yesterday.

At Baldwin Crescent, Renardo Lee's strike on the hour gave the home team a hard-fought 1-0 win over the Soldiers, while Leon Smart scored the lone goal at Winchester Park to give the hosts victory. Under very breezy conditions at Duhaney Park, the hosts defended stoutly against the wind in the first half. They then stole the win in the second period despite some nervous moments caused by their opponents.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Former national goalkeeper Allien Whittaker came closest to scoring for the visitors from a free-kick, but goalkeeper Omar Williams showed quick reflexes to block his rocket after it came through the wall, early in the second half.<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=5 width=330 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD></TD></TR><TR><TD><SPAN class=Description>Desmond Tucker (centre) of Duhaney Park bisects the JDF's Damion Brown (left) and Myshan Taylor during their Jackie Bell KO match at Duhaney Park yesterday. The home team broke the visitors' resistance 15 minutes into the second half when Lee rose above the JDF defence to beat Whittaker with a clinical header from 10 yards.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Late in the half, Mario Gordon swung a dangerous ball across the face of goal for the JDF, but despite the ensuing melee in the area, the home team succeeded in averting danger.
Duhaney Park and Central Kingston now will meet to decide who will get the sole all-island Red Stripe KO spot for non-Premier League KSAFA sides at a date to be announced.
The Premier League teams will join the competition after the play-off final.

Solidarity is not a matter of well wishing, but is sharing the very same fate whether in victory or in death.
