I'm sorry! Not following. Ruud left and Manu won 3 EPL titles. Being a poster boy had nothing to do with what was happening on the field. Once Ruud was removed the team started scoring much more freely. Not a shot at Ruud, he is a legendary goalscorer, but he was preventing the fluidity of the team.

People seem to have a habit of underestimating Fergie. He went out and got 2 wingers plus a player that is capable of putting away some chances.
