Boyz surge to 65 in the World

    Boyz surge to 65 in the World

    The Reggae Boyz got a psychological boost as they head to the CONCACAF Gold Cup with FIFA bumping them up 11 spots in the World rankings to number 65.

    They have been mired in the 70s in recent months but wins over Panama (3-2) and Cayman Islands (4-1) helped to push them up the ladder.
    Only the USA (12), Costa Rica (30), Mexico (33) and Honduras 39 are ahead of Jamaica in CONCACAF.
    Jamaica begin play in the Gold Cup in the United States this Friday.

      Well, how would their rankings be impacted if they beat Costa Rica in the group stage? Better yet, how would it be impacted if they won the Gold Cup? Things that make yuh go ... ummmm!
