LOL......Nearly anywhere else in the world, Donovan's achievements would have made him a household name, a fixture on the covers of sports magazines and (considering that his wife starred in the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement) celebrity rags. As a 20-year-old at the 2002 World Cup he had scored the goal that sealed the most important victory in U.S. men's soccer history, a 2-0 second-round defeat of archrival ......LOL
MLS doesnt get it , you are a developing League ,like in SA,Japan , Australia etc.Beckham cannot make a league credible or one man cannot do it .How in the world they expect thier so called star Donovan to do it ?
Donovan would be a relegation balla or a championship player in the U.K if lucky. He flopped in Germany .
MlS only advantage over all the other developing leagues is the fact that its american meaning it sits in the media center of the world it can promote itself internationally.Other than that its championship football at its best and NPL at its worst.
You cannot fault Beckham for using that media circus to his financial advantage thats all it ever was going to be .
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!
"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.
"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.
