  • What system will Tappa employ

Will Tappa revert to 3 5 2 or will he continue with the 4 4 2 that JB used in his last couple of games? What system best suit the personnel thats available to the coach?

I don't know what he will do but if I was him I would go with the 4-4-2. It is the formation that the majority of our players play overseas. No need to reinvent the wheel. I think we have as good a shot as anyone to win this Gold Cup. We should keep it simple. We have big strong, fast, athletic, tall players who can frustrate the heck out of opponents and take advantage of flank play and set plays. 4-4-2 would set us up perfectly to impose those qualities. - T.K.

I'm not sure about these last 2 friendlies against Cayman but Tappa haven't played 4 4 2 in the games that he's been incharge of.

Well that's why he's the coach and I am just a fan.

What formation has he been playing Dunny? - T.K.

He as always played with 3 central defenders and 2 wing backs.5 3 2 which can become 3 5 2 depends on the situation.

Ah I see...it was the same formation that Simoes played back in his "prime" when we qualified for France. Should be interesting. - T.K.

I think it's a system that limits us in an attacking sense but keeps us tight at the back,so you wont be seeing too many goals for or against.

the last time we play goal cup it was the same thing we play with tennis score 3-3 against SA and something like 5-3 against El Salvador under Downswell.

If our players are fit we can expect a little more.

No. It doesn't limit our attacking as long as you have intelligent ballas in the system, It can actually be more attacking than a 4-4-2 if the players know the game.
