Wait .. how yuh holding up bredren? After what yuh side encountered against Brazil I was expecting to see you on Dr. Phil. Should we buy the story that the players weren't interested in the competition?

Shouldn't buy that story at all. Lippi suffered the same thing as Donadoni did by picking too many old/slow players (wasn't as bad as Donadoni). Luca Toni is no longer useful to the team, Camronesi is useful as a sub. Cannavaro has lost it.

It was quite evident the impact that the pace of Peppe had on the game against Brazil. He should be starting ahead of Camronesi. Iaquinta/Gilardino should start centrally and Rossi or Quaglierella shoudl be the other attacker. Cassano should be an option off the bench.

Montolivo should eventually cement his place in the middle by next year. Santon should win a wingback position by next year. By next year Santacroce or Bochetti should replace Cannavaro by next year and suddenly people will be amazed at where Italy found all these players. There Under 21 products have been strong for the past 5 years and are playing regularly and producing in Serie A. No worries here.
