Lets be honest, Tappa is no Claudio Reyna

Boxing fans like T.K. and a few others will tell you that: 'style make fight'. This is a fact.

Style also makes a good football player.Tappa and Reyna have different styles. I prefer Reyna's style and approach to the game . Let me hasten to sayI am not taking anything away from Tappa.

It will be a waste of space to post side by side the resume of Tappa Whitmore and Claudio Reyna.

Last timeI checked, (Reyna with all his many past injuries) is still starting for the EPL Manchester City. Last time I heard, Tappa was coming off the bench for the NPL Seba.

All I am simply saying is--do the 'Math'.

You are right Tappa is no Claudio Reyna but in saying that Reyna is no Tappa either.

They are two different kind of central mid-fielders. Claudio is a true holding mid-fielder while Theodore is a true attacking mid-fielder. What each brings to the table are apples and oranges.

Where Claudio seperates himself from other players is his ability to maintain possesion, keep the ball moving and play both sides of the ball. Where Tappa seperates himself from other players is his ability to penetrate and create for other players.

As for posting resume's side by side you are correct. Reyna has had a much better career than Tappa. I guess the question is if Tappa had been identified at the age of 21 would he have had a as succesful a career as Claudio? Myopinionis yes.

In either case HL speaking of boxing did you wath Klitchsko vs. Brock? Wladimir is the best heavy weight in the division hands down. The Briggs Liakohvitch fight was some nonsense. Briggs was just a big bloated slow footed non fighting fool but Sergei for whatever reason leading on all score cards decided to get knocked out in the 12th round. He took stupid risks and paid for it in that 12th round. Oh well I root for Klitchsko now. Emanuel Steward is the man. - T.K.

LOL.....Gamma if you are not a child of the 80's you just would not understand.

It came from an episode of the show Perfect Strangers where Larry and Balki tried to make money selling a meposian desert known as bibbibabckas. The secret to making the bibbibabckas is that you must sing the bibbibabcka song as you make them or they won't come out correctly.

Needless to say the power struggle between Larry's desire to get the bibbibabcka's out quickly to make more money and Balki's desire to make the desert properly provides for some great comedy. Man that show Perfect Stangers is a classic to rhatid. Now you know the story of the bibbibabcka song. - T.K.

Tappa v. Reyna is a recycled debate on this forum as you well know T.K. I have noticed that a few Tappaites are suggesting that he should be recalled from 'pasture'. Just adding kerosene oilto the fire.

Like him or not,both Klitskos' now rule the heavyweight division. I lift my hat to both brothers.A part of last weeks fight proceeds went to African children relief!!!

Pretty-Boy Floyd Maywether disappointed me in is post fight interview about 3 weeks ago. He broke out in tears stating he will fight one more time then retire. Reason being the press and joe-public were not impressed by his last win.~sigh~

Still watch lots of fight T.K., such a sweet science.

WellTappa certainly should not be called out from pasteur. He is way past it and can contribute nothing of value at this point.

In either case don't forget that Wladmir's brother Vitali retired at the beginning of the year due to his knee problems. Right now, suspect chin and all, Wladmimir is the best heavy weight and worthwhile watching. Mayweather is a damn joke. I can't stand fighters like him, Roy Jones and Oscar Dela Hoya who pick their opponents oh so carefully. As skillful as they are they will never be great fighters in my book. They duck too many too often. When they decide to step up and actually fightthe best in their prime then they can have my respect. Until then dem a fraud. - T.K.
