  • Mmmm!very interesting.

Arsene Wenger has admitted the prospect of working at Real Madrid under Florentino Perez would be 'interesting'.
Former Real president Perez is on course for a return to the Bernabeu and has promised fans a 'spectacular project' if he wins the elections this summer.
Wenger has regularly seen his name linked with the Spanish giants and has now revealed that any offer from Real would require serious consideration.
"With Perez the project will be strongly interesting for every coach," he told Telefoot.
The Emirates Stadium boss refused to reveal whether he had spoken to Perez, who tried to secure his services during his previous spell at the helm in 2003, saying: "Allow me to remain discreet on that matter".
Frenchman Wenger, who is under contract until 2011, has come under fire from some Gunners fans after a fourth season without silverware but insists he has no plans to walk away from his current post.
"In general I always go right to the end of my contract," he added.

I would understand if he decided to move on... some fans are not appreciative of the efforts he's made at the club and that is probably a big factor in whether he decides to stay or move.

He will not go. He is a smart man and his board are made up of intelligent people. They know that the most they can expect until finances warrant is to stay in the UCL. No manager wants to go without winning, certainly not Wenger. He is however, resigned to the reality of his financial situation. He knows that he has to keep the club profitable until the stadium is substantially paid for, after that - watch out! They hit a major hiccup with the real estate market's collapse as the condos at the Emirates have not been selling plus hotel revenues are off. I expect that if Wenger stays and economic circumstances change, Arsenal will become prominent again within the next 5 years (top 2).
