  • Ronaldo: Title race done and dusted now

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo insists the Premier League title race is now over following United's storming second-half comeback against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side trailed 2-0 at the break following strikes from Darren Bent and Luka Modric, only for the reigning English, European and World champions to hit back with five goals in 22 second-half minutes to return to the top of the table above Liverpool.

And the Portuguese winger - who netted twice, including the controversial penalty that sparked United's fightback - believes any hopes Rafael Benitez's side had of overhauling the Red Devils should now be binned.
“We have five games left and we know that if we win the next four we will win the league," he said.

“We have five cup finals left and we have to believe. I'm looking forward to every game and I'm very confident we'll win the title again.
“I was very happy with my goals and delighted for my team-mates as well, Rooney, Tevez, Berba, they all played fantastic.

“The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant in the second half and the fans helped us win the game. When we are together like that, the players and the supporters, you always know the result will come.”

No No ... mi nuh like dem talk deh! Liverpool have a very easy run in, only Spurs might give them any trouble on the last day. The Empire have to face Spurs, who always find something extra to play Manu, the Manchester Derby, Wigan, Arsenal (nuff said). Suh easy wid the done and dusted talk.

I think that is a writers' job and not Ronaldo saying done and dusted.

Yes I think the Spur comback will spur them to win the title but try keep the writers them from twisting your words.

          What did he really say?

I think the heading is the sensational piece.
