Arsenal star Emmanuel Adebayor has admitted he was flattered after being pursued by AC Milan but is desperate to win trophies at the Emirates.
Adebayor has yet to win a trophy in three-and-a-half years at Arsenal and will hope to end that drought in the Champions League this season – although the Gunners must first get past Manchester United with the semi-final first leg at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
He was linked with a move to AC Milan in the summer but instead signed a new contract. And Adebayor said the interest was as flattering as being fancied by pop star Beyonce.
