I think "Mr. Blakie" was short! ...and I think Palmer of Port Morant was also short!

"Mr. Blakie" was an excellent player. Palmer was OK!

Your math is correct Sir. In boots I'd be 5'9" to 5'10" and that would be similar to what Noah should be. But let's say that Noah is 5'11" and therefore has to be precluded from my list, who then would you put in his place on my list. All I'm trying to get is the ites list of short generals and unnuh skirting around my list. Just tell me fi unnuh list and done!

I would think at least 5' 11" would be about correct.

David "Luggy" Farquharson would be someone I would submit. Luggy could have been around 5' 7" to 5'8", thick and muscular and skilful. He played midfield back in the day for STETHS and also represented Los Perfectos from Mandeville.

With so many short Jamaicans about, you should not have a problem filling pages of short players.

An American friend visited Jamaica sometime ago on vacation and on his return he sais to me that Jamaicans seem to be some short people. It is not too far from the truth. Maybe the average height of a grown Jamaican male is 5' 8".

Unless you're looking at Noah in heels which would likely add an extra inch to him.
During those times, those guys did not wear high heel shows. Strickly Earth shoes and Clarkes, with Wallabees thrown in the mix from time to time.

No way no how can Noah be more than about 5'9"!!! And I'll stake my next check on that. Noah and I played together for almost 7 days a week up until about 1997 when I had to cut my ball days to 2 or 3 days. I posit to you that Noah is NOT 5'11". He and I are about the same height and I am about 5'9" to 5'10" IN BOOTS.

Interesting, the average height of an American male is around 5' 9", average for yard is about 5' 8"...not that far apart.

I'll give you my list shortly, but Douglas Bell has to come off your list. I played against him and with him in various leagues from JA to the US. Douglas is about the same height as I or maybe slightly shorter and I measured 5' 9 7/8" when I played in college.

I definitely fit the "pint-sized" criterion so you can add me... I don't dribble too well and have problem shielding the e ball (at 140 lbs), my first touch sees the ball a good yard away from me, I have a weak shot and because of my height (or lack of) heading the ball is a rarity, but other than that I have all the qualities to make the side.
