    ( L - R ) Claude Davis and Jason Euell

English-based Reggae Boyz Jason Euell and Claude Davis will miss tomorrow's friendly against Peru at the National Stadium. </DIV>

"Claude is out with an injury and Euell was asked to be excused because he had some personal things to take care of," said interim coach Carl Brown, whose three-month contract ends after tomorrow's game.

Leading scorer in the Wray and Nephew National Premier League, Leon Strickland of Arnett Gardens, who was initially dropped from the training squad, has been recalled as the only replacement.

With the exception of Tyrone Marshall, the rest of the squad trained yesterday at Stadium East.

Peru are due in the island this afternoon and are expected to have a training session later today.

Peru lost their previous match to Chile 0-1, while Jamaica nipped Canada 2-1 in their last friendly.

    GIRLZ DEPARTURE

The Reggae Girlz depart the island this afternoon for the 2006 CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup in the U.S.A.

The Girlz will join Panama, U.S.A., Canada, Mexico and Trinidad and Tobago as they vie for qualification to next year's World Cup in China.

The two finalists will automatically qualify for the World Cup, while the third-place team plays Japan in a home-and-away series for the final spot.

Jamaica will play a practice match on Thursday against Trinidad and Tobago before taking on Panama in their first match on Sunday. Trinidad and Tobago will also play Mexico on Sunday and the winners will advance to the semi-finals where Canada and the hosts await them.

The semi-finals are on November 22, while the third-place play-off and final will be played on November 26.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
