JFF, KSAFA hit back at violent/foul-mouthed players and coaches

Seven persons who appeared before the JFF Disciplinary Committee on February 24, were slapped with fines and match suspensions.
Tivoli Gardens' assistant coach Max Straw was fined $2,000 and reprimanded after he was ejected from the game against Boys' Town for making offensive, insulting and abusive remarks "towards an official".
Also Rivoli United's U-21 coach Oneil Thomas was also fined $2,000 for a similar offence.
Meadhaven's Under-21 coach Lijyasu Simms, "a repeat offender", was fined $3,000 and put on probation for the rest of the season.
Rivoli Under-21 player Marlon Henry was fined $1,000 and banned for two matches, one of which he has already served, for offensive, insulting and abusive remarks aimed at the referee following his expulsion from a game.
Another Under-21 player, Tremaine Stewart of Portmore United, was also punished for violent conduct. He was fined $500 and suspended for one match. He has already sat out the match.
Marvin Mills of the same team was also sent from the field of play for violent conduct and received a $500 fine and a one-match ban which he has already served.
Patrick Graham of Reno FC also faced the Committee to answer to serious foul play. He received a $1,000 fine and picked up a one-match suspension which he has already served.
Keneif Lee of St George's and Randall Morris of Reno were each fined $500 and banned for one match for violent vonduct during an Under-21 match between both teams on February 20.
At another Disciplinary Committee hearing on March 10, Tivoli captain Christopher Jackson was fined $7,000 and banned for three games for his conduct during a game against Meadhaven on February 22. Jackson, after being ejected for foul and abusive language, was accused of displaying further aggressive behaviour on his way off the field.
Meadhaven's Nackwayne Parchment of Meadhaven was fined $5,000 banned for two matches and placed on probation for the rest of the season for his action in a DPL game on March 1. Following his ejection for violent conduct, Parchment re-entered the field of play and engaged in action not in keeping with the spirit of the game.
Boys' Town's Under-21 player Kemar Campbell was fined $1,000 and banned for four matches for violent conduct. He was ordered to issue a written apology to the referee. Campbell was placed on probation for the remainder of the season.
The Meadhaven duo of Kirk Duckworth and Raymond Williamson were each fined $1,000 and banned for one match. Duckworth was charged with violent conduct (off the ball) during a DPL match against Sporting Central on March 1, while Williamson, who had missed a previous hearing, was charged for foul and insulting language.
Meanwhile, KSAFA dished out fines and match suspensions of their own following a hearing on Thursday.
Denzil Mitchell of Constant Spring was slapped with a $2,000 fine and will serve a three-match suspension. Mitchell was shown the red card after striking his opponent in the Claro/KSAFA Super League match against Real Mona on March 14.
Arnett Garden's Christopher Marsh, who failed to show for a March 5 hearing, was hit with a $1,000 fine and given a two-match suspension for violent conduct in a Claro/KSAFA Under-20 match against Cavalier on February 24. Marsh has served his two-match suspensions and is now eligible to play.
Similar fines and two-match suspensions were issued to UWI's Matthew Parchment and Cavalier's Keiron Brock for violent conduct in their game against Shortwood United and Duhaney Park on February 22 and March 14, respectively. Parchment has served his one-match suspension.
The Boy's Town duo of Jamiel Hardware and Otise Francis as well as Allman/Woodford's Adrian Adlam failed to show for the hearing. These players are ineligible to play in any competition until they have appeared before a disciplinary hearing. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 3.
All fines must be paid before players are eligible to compete.
