....scores his 3rd goal in 3 games last nite since joining Puerto Rico Islanders in the Champions League. On form he deserves a call up in the next international match the boyz plays. Hope the federation's scouts/technical staff are monitoring him.

    Highlights.

Did he appear to have played well?
If not, way are you requesting his call up?

Aside: For me, taking out his goal, he had a poor game!
Lots of effort...but never saw any concerted action at intelligent play.

No intelligent play? He was always looking to play TEAM. Held up the ball till his teammates got into attack and always passed and made good passes.

you have time. this youth always provide himself as an option.

He reminds me of Worlde Harris

Well they have something in common. They move off the ball in similar fashion and is always moving into space.

Most of our top strikers can't do that. I have said I think he is Harris but better at finishing.

              You watched the match?

All praises to his play leading to his scoring ...and his 'scoring play'.

I saw him doing a lot of running and running down (most often they were not closed down) on the opponents!
...but often taking himself out of useful defensive role as too often he raced in and was beaten and left for dead...leaving the opponent to mount an atack...

...that when on doing that racing in in a thoughtful manner would have aided delaying the opponents passing on attack...and would have aided his teammates being afford time to organise on defense. Booting the ball into touch (i.e. giving the ball to the opponents...and shortening the time in which his opponents could attack...when if he had spent time thinking on it he would have realised that forcing his opponents to make two or three passes more passes or delaying their going forward would have taken more time and benefitted his team) when he had more than 2 outlet passes to run down the time.

...as I said, he worked hard...

...and if he was so strong as to put the ball high into the stadium...why could he not have, at least sometimes, put the ball over the touchline nearer to his opponents goal-line? Would not that have been better for his team? ...having his 'few in the back opponents' re-start their attack 'waaaaaaay further from the goal he was defending'?

He also reminds me a bit of Wolde.

It is quite interesting how he and Damani Ralph transformed their game once they went to the US and became strikers. Both played behind the strikers and did a lot of dribbling and creating, yet looking at them as pros they play as target strikers who keep the game simple.

...if in our mind's eye we are looking for Jamaica National team, Reggae Boyz, players.

Our players, if they want a look in at the national team level must put on display good quality play.

What is the point of going on the field merely to make up numbers...and ensure the REGGAE BOYZ defeat when facing quality teams...or on the onlooker being kind, saying, you added not one bit to making team good quality?

All 3 goals in the CL were things of class, of the highest order. I am happy for the young man. He is a class individual and deserves every good that comes his way.

I hope he lands a bigger contract after this. And he certainly deserves a call up for the Gold Cup squad. I'll do everyting in my power to make sure that happens.

Is better you stay away from him if the Jerry Hue boot cleaning mentality is anything to go by.

Didnt do too badly. . Keep in mind he's still getting used to his new teammates at the club and I think they played a 4-5-1 system which means he was more of a post up player than an attacking striker. I actually like his workrate as a player. He's alot better than Fuller but less flashy. Having said that he's currently an in-form striker right now and deserves a look in in the national setup at least for 1 or 2 friendlies.
