  • Arsenal cruise into quarter-finals

The gunners put in a vintage performance to see off Burnley 3-0.Goals from Vela,Eduardo and Eboue and a masterful display from Alex Song who set up all 3 goals was too much for Burnley who had previously knock Arsenal out of the Carling Cup.Arsenal gave a start to Eduardo and also gave Walcott 20 minutes at the end, they dominated the game from start to finish and Burnley simply had no answer to crisp passing and movement of the Gunners they were lucky to get away with only a 3 nil defeat as Walcott and Van Persie wasted great chances near the end.Roma here we come

As usual we made many chances. This time we put away 3. All good goals.

We need to keep Eduardo fit,he is a finisher of the highest order.

Coming back slowly. The main problem a player has after serious injury is getting over the lack of confidence that prevents putting in full effort and getting 'stuck in'. There is a subconscious fear of getting hurt once again.

Eduardo has that fear...but it appears he is getting better since his first match. He'll improve in confidence each time he plays. As the season winds down he'll get better asnd better and thus assist in Arsenal's getting better and better as the season winds down.

GUNNERS still in the battle for silverware.
