    Played 6, Won 1, draw 3, loss 2. From a possible 18 points Villa has taken 6.

Yet for all that based on quality outfield play...sweet and effective movement off the ball, the GUNNERS are right there with ManU, Liverpool, Chelsea and arguably a notch above Villa.

Arsenal has fared very well against those above her in the standings.
If we are all agreed that the 'big boys' always come into these matches fired up and playing for all they are worth then the GUNNERS have done better than ManU, Chelsea and Aston Villa. Liverpool has a 3 point advantage on the GUNNERS here.

The above stats coupled with manner of play shows the GUNNERS are playing as sweet and effective as ever save and except in the area of goalscoring...

...and has that ever hurt her?

In matches the GUNNERS most often has greater possession and number of chances created. She needs the firepower upfront to catapult her once more to winning trophies. Talk of Arsene Wenger's wilting as coach and the GUNNERS pending demise are premature. Wenger has his golden youth minus consistent scorers. Fill that need for goalscorers and the glory days should return.

    Go GUNNERS!

The only thing the Gunners need is clinical finishing and the return of the little maestro (Fabregas) the pace and trickery of Walcott the experience and class of Rosicky and the finishing prowess of Eduardo and getting Arshavin to full match fitness then we'll be fine.

Nice snapshots, and of course if it makes you feel better then run with it.
Some of the results do not tell the whole story, and skill is test by guts too(alluding the 'insignificant role' played by the minnows).
I feel the EPL is the super league this season, ergo the CL is negated. First, second, third and fourth best clubs have to be from the EPL, and and from that you will find your only solace....

OBTW, wouldn't you agree Aston Villa deserves to be ahead of Arsenal given the head-to-head matchups favour them?

      Blessed

The team who finish with the most amount of points at the end of the season are the one's that deserve it,the league is all about consistency over 38 games. The premier league is the toughest in Europe any top team can get turned over on any given day,and the likes of Fullham,Wigan,West Ham etc. are vastly improved.

Its over for the Gunners and di yutes dem a go tek a few years before dem ready fi prime time. Yutes by demselves can gi yuh a championship without veteran leadership in the fold. Too much wholesale changes in the squad.

            Villa?

They surely do! ...as do all the other clubs ahead of us. They beat the teams we all should more often than do my GUNNERS!

If the GUNNERS won all those games where we had most chances andgreater possession they would besitting on 70+ points now! Just thinking og that makes me

Not at all...but the reality is FA Cup is the only live possibility....

CL is far fetched..squad not deep enough...too many players coming back from injury..not enough time to be match sharp..
