The most goals he scored for Real in a season was 4. Was he considered a flop then? If so, why bring him to MLS fi so much money? When he won La Liga, something none of yuh so called analysts ever did he only scored 3 goals.

When he played for the Empire the most he scored in a season was 11. Gwaan form fool. Scoring goals wasn't a big part of his game suh why all of a sudden unuh a mek up noise?

I keep telling people him flopping because them make the media give them some crazy expectations for the man and watch too many highlights. Them think him going to suddenly turn into a dribbler and massive goalscorer because he moves to MLS. The level is lower, but it isn't so much lower that the man is going to become more than he is.

Everything is relative bredrin.... including value.

The guy gets worldwide publicity for some strange and illogical reason..... totally out of kilter with his talent as a player.

Because of this media frenzy and his consequent marketability, teams can benefit at the gate and in merchandising.... that's his primary value.
He has a very educated right foot but his biggest value is off the field.

Beckham is a good but not a great player.... but he is a great merchandiser.... it's not hard to see why he is sought after.
