    BECKHAM IN ITALY

Milan ready to pay £4.5m to keep Beckham

Milan are willing to pay a £4.5m transfer fee for David Beckham to remain at the San Siro but, according to chief executive Adriano Galliani, LA Galaxy are yet to agree to a deal.

David Beckham celebrated his first goal as a Serie A player at the weekend.

Beckham's five-year deal with the MLS club has a break clause inserted that means he can leave California for free in October. Milan aim to offer cash to tempt Galaxy to allow the 33-year-old to stay in Italy. Reports in England suggest that Milan, having held discussions with his American club believe that £4.5m will be enough to get that clause activated.

"If Beckham comes to an agreement with Galaxy, we are ready to pay a figure. In the coming days we will meet his advisors," Galliani told Sky Sport 24.
"If Los Angeles Galaxy decide not to sell him, they won't sell him."
"The player wants to stay with us but even he knows he must return to America."
Beckham, who moved to Milan to prove his fitness to England boss Fabio Capello, has been a first-choice starter for the Rossoneri and grabbed his first goal at the weekend in a 4-1 rout of Bologna.
His post-match press conference seemed to open the door of an extension of his stay and manager Carlo Ancelotti and Milan owner and Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi have both spoken of his readiness to retain the former England captain.
British tabloid reports suggest wife Victoria is less keen on staying in Italy and does not want to uproot their three sons after their previous spell in a non-English speaking country with Real Madrid.

Galliani said Milan would be willing to soften the blow of any loss in earnings if Beckham broke his a highly lucrative deal with Galaxy and MLS.

cho Beckham done.....period. He may still have a few games left in him, but nothing to maintain that high level over an entire season. He has to be used sparingly. The Milan coach is an idiot. His team is much too old, and he needs to rebuild the team around Kaka and Pato.
Hey .. look at the bright side .... at least you're not a Liverpool fan! - Lazie 2/24/10 Paul Marin -19 is one thing, 20 is a whole other matter. It gets even worse if they win the UCL. *groan*. 05/18/2011.MU fans naah cough, but all a unuh a vomit?-Lazie 1/11/2015

could it be his injury that he suffered, and rest it up in the MLS?

I watch the game Saturday and Becks is not running on the ball like he is used to. He has other running so he pretty much put himself in good positions.

The Kinda running that Becks use to do up to the time when England play Columbia in Giants Staduim is no more.

                    what kinda stats you use.

5 goal and 10 assist is flop inna MLS. If that was EPL or La Liga that would be different.

even the analysis them all agree.

Which analysts? Provide some name? 25 games, 5 goals, 10 assist .. is a flop? The most goals he scored for Real in a season was 4. Was he considered a flop then? If so, why bring him to MLS fi so much money? When he won La Liga, something none of yuh so called analysts ever did he only scored 3 goals.

When he played for the Empire the most he scored in a season was 11. Gwaan form fool. Scoring goals wasn't a big part of his game suh why all of a sudden unuh a mek up noise?

Glorious right foot? Yuh nuh wish the Reggae Boyz had a player with such a "Glorious right foot"? If thats all he had, why did Capello have to recall him to the Real Madrid team after attempting to exile him?

Would you say all Echiverry had was a glorious left foot?
