    <SPAN id=intelliTXT><H1></H1><P class=story_panel_text valign="top"><SPAN id=intelliTXT nd="1">Arsene Wenger and Alan Pardew have both been charged with "improper conduct" by the FA following their touchline bust-up at Upton Park.</SPAN><P nd="2">The two bosses had to be separated following Marlon Harewood's late winner for the home side on Sunday, following celebrations by the West Ham coach in the technical area. <P nd="3">French coach Wenger refused to shake his rival's hand at the end of the match, and left without speaking to the press. <P nd="4">Pardew has since apologised, with the League Managers' Association set to attempt mediation. <P nd="5">The FA have decided there is a case to answer. <P nd="6">"West Ham United manager Alan Pardew and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger have both been charged with improper conduct," a statement on the FA's website read. <P nd="7">"The charges relate to their alleged aggressive and confrontational behaviour towards the end of the match at Upton Park on Sunday 5 November. <P nd="8">"They have until 23 November to respond." <P nd="9">Each manager has the right to request a personal hearing, but could face either a fine or even a touchline ban should the charge be proven. <P nd="10">Wenger has so far remained silent on the incident. <P nd="11">The Arsenal manager did not speak to the media directly after Sunday's game, and with no press conference scheduled ahead of the Carling Cup clash with Everton, any comment is unlikely to be forthcoming until post-match at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.</SPAN>
