Transfer Activity? If it will happen it will happen, lets see some games arranged against some quality teams.
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)

Damn!!!!!!!!! I was off by a count of 3 yesterday. Now the friendlies will start to roll in with the likes of Coach John Barnes and Assissant Coach Theodore 'Tappa' Whitmore at the helm of the Reggae Boyz Ship.

Now on to the 5 friendly FIFA dates then the Gold Cup in 2009. Then more friendlies in 2010, watch the World Cup in the summer while thinking what might have been if Simoes hadn't f-us up in the first 3 semi-final games. Then defend the DigiCup in the latter half of 2010 and qualify for the 2011 Gold Cup. Then the final move to qualify for Brazil 2014 when the World Cup Qualifiers get underway in early 2011.

Whooooo!!!!! I'm out of breath outlining dates like FIFA for Jamaica and the Reggae Boyz.

This is good news for the program. We have made significant progress in the past 2-3 months. Only a pitty we are out of the world Cup...

the JFF should now be in a better position to bring one or two decent teams to Jamaica on one of the FIFA match dates. Ghana/Senegal/Cameroun would pull in a godo size crowd at the office.

Good news to see the ranking improving. However, not so fast forumites. The rules are:

          Criteria for Players
To be eligible for a Governing Body Endorsement under PBS:
          • A player must have played for his country in at least 75% of its competitive "A" team matches he was available for selection, during the 2 years preceding the date of the application; and
          • The player’s country must be at or above 70th place in the official FIFA World Rankings when averaged over the 2 years preceding the date of the application.

          For more info see. http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/NewsFromT...layers_PBS.htm

I thought these rules were only seriously adhere in England and not the entire European community since a good number of Reggae Boyz ply their trade in the Nords region.

By my calculation we are averaging just over 82nd place in the rankings.

Yes, those rules are for England. It does not apply to persons with a EU passport. If they are already playing in a Nord region (EU territory), it seems easier to get a transfer to England.
